Justice Sandra Day O’Connor founded this site in 2009 to help students understand civics. The site is based on the idea that civic knowledge is a prerequisite for thoughtful and active civic participation. There are many free games for students and resources for teachers (and adults). The games help you learn how government works by experiencing it. Anyone can step into the role of a judge, a member of Congress, a community activist, even the President of the United States – and do the job they do.
